If you want to find some of Glasgow's latest works of art then you just have to take a walk around the streets. In an attempt to rejuvenate neglected areas of the city, some giant sized murals are taking over buildings, walls and bridges. Glasgow has always been well known as a city that loves art, design and architecture and it finally seems to have embraced the original beauty that can be created by street art. For the past few years well known and highly talented street artists have been commissioned to produce these amazing images which include Scottish wildlife, strange goings on below the River Clyde and some stunning portraits. I personally love street art and these vivid and fun pieces have been causing a buzz in the city since they appeared. With the Commonwealth Games fast approaching some appropriately sporting artwork has also been commissioned. It's hard to convey in photographs just how massive these images are! If you're visiting Glasgow soon then take a walk around and see these urban creations for yourself as street art tends to have a limited lifespan.
