Scotland might be a small country but it is packed with amazing places and attractions which means planning a trip can soon become overwhelming. You might be at the very start of your planning journey and unsure the best places to visit that fit with your interests and time, or you might have put together your own itinerary and want to check if it is realistic.
Whatever stage you are at, I am able to use my extensive local knowledge and travel experience to help with your Scotland travel planning dilemmas.
I currently offer 3 itinerary planning options which you can find out more about below.
WHY CHOOSE ME?
Hi! I'm Susanne, a native Scot currently living in the beautiful Orkney Islands.
Throughout my life I've walked, cycled, driven, flew or sailed through and around most of Scotland - not to forget the countless train and bus journeys that I've undertaken along the way!
To date I've also lived in the city, the Highlands and two very different islands which has allowed me to experience diverse parts of Scotland not just as a holidaymaker but as a local.
My knowledge of Scotland is extensive and I'm just as familiar with the many hidden gems around the country as I am with the popular tourist spots. Running a Scottish travel blog for over 5 years means I also have a huge amount of practical travel experience. If I'm not on a Scotland trip, I'm usually planning my next one!
This combined expertise means I can confidently advise you on a truly personal, unique and realistic itinerary that fits with your interests, budget and time.
I look forward to hearing from you and helping you to turn your dream Scotland trip in to a reality.

This is my most economic and most popular option. For a small daily investment, I can create a recommended travel route for your Scotland vacation that fits with your timescale and interests.
This option is ideal for travellers that are happy to arrange their own activities and accommodation once they have a logical and realistic route in place.
For an additional £10 per planned night I can also research suitable accommodation options within your budget. Please note I will check availability at the time of creating your itinerary, however it is your responsibility to book any accommodation.

FEEDBACK FROM PREVIOUS CLIENTS
"Susanne, Just wanted to let you know that the trip you set up for us was fabulous!
We were able to do and visit most of what you recommended, including the restaurants, pubs and local concerts. Also the driving times were perfect!
We went onto most of your hikes. We did visit Jura (and mingle with the local community at their fundraising baking contest!) but didn’t book your suggested tour as we decided only at the very last moment and barely made it to the ferry! The final hike to Machrie Moor on Arran was magic.
Thanks again. You did a really great job for us"

"I was given three years to plan a trip to Scotland for my sister's 50th birthday. I began following travel bloggers immediately for ideas and help. When I found this blog I found not only tons of info, but also that Susanne was extremely friendly and helpful to all her followers and travel enthusiasts. Therefore when I saw she offered itinerary help I knew immediately that we would enlist her help once I had a rough draft. I cannot say enough how much stress it relieved and how many opportunities it opened up for us. She created a schedule for us that was flexible, offered plenty of options and loads of suggestions for each day and each place right down to pubs and shops. All of this was catered to our specific interests. I can't recommend her itinerary services enough. I certainly plan on getting another done for my next trip to Scotland! (Because of course I need to go back again one day) THANK YOU!!"
